2. What is Matter? ▪Matter is everything. ▪Matter is something that has mass and takes up space. ▪The states of matter are gas, liquid and solid

3. What is a Solid? ▪A solid is a subtance of something that it’s molecules stay put and don’t move. ▪A bowl, feather and wood are a solid. ▪To make a solid you cool it.

4. What is a Gas? ▪A gas is oxygen and carbon dioxide. ▪Gas’s molecules move very rapidly. They are not together like a solid

5. What is a Liquid? ▪A liquid is anything that takes it shape by the container. ▪It’s molecules are moving fast but not as fast as gas’s molecules.

6. What is Melting? ▪Melting is when you heat a liquid to turn into a solid

7. What is Boiling? ▪Boiling is when you add heat to liquid and it makes a gas. ▪You use the oven/stove to boil the liquid.

8. What is Reversible/Non- Reversible? ▪Non-reversible is something that can not be change back to it’s normal matter. ▪Non-reversible matter is jello, chocolate syurp in milk. ▪Reversible mater is something that you can change back. ▪Like ice and water

9. How is Matter Useful to us? ▪Matter is use to us in many ways ▪Pencils, computers and buses. ▪Clothing, ipods and food. ▪Water, brigdes and humans
