( Kickball, soccer ect.)  I feel proud of myself in this class when me and Rachel get a high grade in class.  The best thing I contribute to this class is being on student council and my smarts.

7.  I feel mixed feelings when I work in math class because sometimes the work can be really fun and involves eating but other times it may be really boring and we don’t get a lot done so we have a bunch of homework  Outside of school, I use math when my mom has me makeup the tip for the waitress/waiter.

9.  The kind of books I like to read are historical fiction, mystery and fantasy.  I choose what I’m going to read by reading the back of the book and looking and the genre.  I can become a better reader by practicing reading aloud.

10.  I think my writing is strong because I have to do less editing and revising when I check my writing pieces.  I am really proud of me memoir and sequential essay.

11.  I feel happy when I work in writer’s workshop because I can express my feelings through my writing.  I use writing in my everyday life when I make up my own stories at home. Also when I write thank you notes.
