What to where long underwear thick wool socks insulated boots, either rubber or canvas, with extra-thick soles jeans & a sweater insulated canvas pants down-filled parka wool glove liners and thick leather mittens balaclava (polar fleece "hat" that covers your ears and neck, too, see picture) neck gaiter (polar fleece tube worn around the neck) warm hat with earflaps goggles

Tourism Cruise ships travel to Antarctica between December and February -- which is summer in the southern hemisphere. Trips too early or too late in the season may be limited by ice floes as well as frozen channels. When travelign to Antarctica, you want to bring clothing that will keep you warm and dry. Your cruise ship company may have some on board or it can be rented at shops in Ushuaia, Argentina the southern-most port where you will likely meet your ship.

Food to eat You would eat some loverly seal or some highly edible fish But above all else make sure you eat foods high in protein, energy and calories

People to bring Make sure you bring along as many people as you can because it is a lot easier to survive that way in case anything happens
