Problem Statement In school we lack proper disaster management education. School students have less opportunity to be involved in volunteering activities because of lower age. Parents somehow refuse for us to go to volunteering activities if there is any danger. This means the long vacation for school students are not so productive – it is a missed opportunity to contribute to society and learn. In residential school there are restrictions on outside communication use.
5
Objectives To increase awareness of school students about Natural Disasters. To empower Grade 10 students to do a sports camp work during the 2 months holiday from April to June. To encourage school to start a Disaster Management Trainings during terminal breaks.
6
1. To make awareness to school students about Natural Disaster
Awareness campaign will be under the charge of school teachers supervising students, using recent earthquake videos and detailed explanations about the earthquake. Teachers and students will stimulate and do role play about the preventive measures of disasters. Fund raising campaign will be done by playing a football match between teachers and students.

2. To empower Grade 10 students to do a sports camp during the 2 month holiday from April to June.
The funds collected during the football match will be provided to run a small sports camp. 15 grade ten students will have the responsibility to play with vulnerable kids as per the budget limits. Volunteers will try to identify the situation of disaster affected kids and try to overcome the grief.
