E-invoicing is the electronic exchange of formatted invoice data between a sender and receiver. The exchange is dependent on an integration between the IT systems of sender and receiver, or the use of a 3rd party platform to facilitate the exchange. Email with attachments, such as PDF, are not considered e-invoicing.
