The untapped resources in our Schools… Take 10 minutes to list all staff who are not currently teaching/in the classroom full time Continue to add to your list with the other employees, parents, volunteers, volunteer organizations, community supports services etc. Add staff who are currently assigned to categorical programs e.g. speech therapist, OT, social worker, etc. This is a brainstorm activity be creative, think outside the box, there are no right or wrong answers.

Chenoweth and Everhart (2002) suggest leadership team mebers should: Be committed to school-wide change: Be respected by colleagues; Possess leadership potential; Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills; and Be able to start projects and “get things done”
