Who we are #AVID4Districts Pinellas County, Florida Approximately 104,000 students served 7th-largest district in Florida 26th-largest district in the nation Broad range of schools in terms of economic and social diversity You may have heard of - Clearwater Beach, St. Petersburg Judith Vigue, Director - Advanced Studies & Academic Excellence Jennifer Vragovic, High School Advanced Studies Specialist Brian Morrison, Middle School Advanced Studies Specialist Kerrale Prince, Elementary District Director

How did we get here? #AVID4Districts 2005 1 school 1 teacher 2 sections of AVID 1 52 students Grant Funded 2016 16 high schools, 19 middle schools & 13 elementary schools (48 and growing) 66 elective teachers 256 sections 4,497 students Funding FTE model in Florida - bonus FTE District funds AVID memberships, tutors, DD's, and secondary schools training Elementary training funded by the site 1 Demo High School & 2 secondary schools in the Demo Cycle 1 AVID Elementary Showcase School
