Brave Faces Presentation Highlights “When I saw my doctor, I got a diagnosis of bipolar II, a prescription, a follow-up appointment and that was all the information I received. I immediately went to the library and checked out a bunch of books and read everything I could about bipolar. Understanding bipolar helped me make sense of parts of my life, which had been such a roller-coaster... The way I see it, I'm just doing what I have to do to get better." Justin Babb – New Speaker

Brave Faces Presentation Highlights “"People often ask me, 'What are you?' The best I can answer is I am a person who likes people." Chris said. "It can lead to barriers to getting the help you need to be healthy. The first time I talked to a therapist they questioned me 'What do you mean you don't feel like a girl?' when I was looking for validation and support. It's hard to trust (a therapist)when you feel you have to keep something like that a secret."." Chris Stampfli – New Speaker
