10 Operational Summary Coalition forces continue attack –Control Baghdad International Airport solidified –Forces operating inside of Baghdad –Continuing progress in Southern Iraq Ali mosque still at a standoff –Coalition forces not firing on mosque Two oil well fires still burn 4 days without missile attack into Kuwait

11 Security Situation Update Rear Area Threat: –Iraqi surface to surface missile attacks still possible, though short-range threat diminished –Iraqi paramilitary activities north of Kuwaiti border Travel in Iraq entails risk –Close interaction with HOC prior to departure is highly recommended to ensure receipt of the most recent security updates
