4. Eyes that are Blind To the requirement of becoming like God 2 Pet 1:4-8 “I’ve been baptized, I’m good” inspired by forgiveness to make a beginning, not to think that we’ve reached the end

5. Eyes that are Blind To the seriousness of hating my brother 1 Jn 2:7-11; 3:13-18; 4:20-21 I walk in darkness when I think I am in the light I abide in death when I think I am alive My lack of action reveals my lack of love I profess I love God, but this cannot be true

6. Eyes that are Blind To my lack of spiritual development Rev 3:14-20 “I can see just fine” attitude of pride, satisfaction and indifference

7. Eyes that are Blind To what a hypocrite looks like to God Mt 23:25-28 There is no bigger fool than one who has fooled himself: “If what men see looks good, then I am good.”

8. Eyes that are Blind To God’s truth Mt 15:12-14; Lk 6:39-40 I am blind if I hold to the traditions and doctrines of men; hose who follow my teaching are just as blind. Who is my teacher? When I fully trained, then I will be like him. 1 Cor 11:1

9. Am I Blind? Do I accept the evidence for Jesus? Am I sensitive to righteousness and holiness? Am I diligently working to partake of God’s nature? Do my actions show that I love my brother? Am I content with my level of spiritual development? Do I care more about what men see or what God knows? Am I following and teaching God’s truth?
