Important Notes Proctors of Regents Examinations should be sure to review exam specific directions prior to administration Students With Disabilities must be provided test accommodations as stated in their IEP Please be sure to read the School Administrators Manual for 3-8 ELA & Math and/or the Directions for Administering the Regents Examinations for specific information on allowable accommodations. Calculators & Other Math Tools 3-8 Math – Grade 6, 7 & 8 must have scientific calculator for Book 2 & 3. Please see grade specific Educator Test Guides for guidelines on use of other tools Regents Math – must have a graphing calculator without symbol manipulation Living Environment – students who wish to have a 4 function or scientific calculator must have access to one Earth Science, Chemistry – must have a 4 function or scientific calculator Physics – must be provided with a scientific or graphing calculator All calculators must be cleared/reset before entering test site 3-8 Math – Grade 6, 7 & 8 must have scientific calculator for Book 2 & 3. Please Note… Misadministration and/or irregularities in administration must be reported to the principal

Checking in Student Answer Papers ~ Regents When a student has completed a Regents exam, all the student answer materials (both used and unused, including scrap paper) must be collected and checked in by logging the materials into a list of examinees. This should be done before the student is permitted to leave the exam room.
