9 th Grade World History Meet Lily. Lily is a bright, sweet girl from Mexico. Lily is still working on her English skills, and works with Maria Hutzley for support in World History. She’s diligent, thoughtful, and more than a little shy about speaking in front of her peers. Lily often needs a little extra time to digest what we go over in class, and feels a lot of pressure to “ get it ” right away. Luckily, Lily has two amazingly supportive dads that are very involved. They often go over her work at home, and are happy that she is adjusting well to Groves. Lily, age 15
