ADF Reserves Military leave policy? –Continuous full time service when on deployment so leave is earned. –Short deployments so not much leave. –Most health reserves return straight to their hospitals and practices.

Defence Health Services Division Sensitivity Training This is part of commanding officers and senior managers courses for the ADF No packages or courses are available for civilian employers These potential problems are covered in pre deployment lectures

Defence Health Services Division Mentoring Programs No formal program Is done on an informal basis through the military units This can be a problem for some reservists who do not attend formed units

Defence Health Services Division Support for Civilians These are provided through contractors to Defence. The support is the responsibility of the contractors. ADF plays little part in their support.
