Major STD/STI’s: Chlamydia: ◦ Bacteria ◦ Known as the ‘Silent’disease ◦ Intercourse ◦ Antibiotics will cure it ◦ Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

Major STD/STI’s: Gonorrhea: ◦ Bacteria ◦ Intercourse or genital to genital contact ◦ Antibiotics will usually cure gonorrhea but it is becoming more difficult to treat. ◦ Can cause blindness, joint infections, and be life threatening.

Major STD/STI’s: Genital Warts (HPV): ◦ Human Papilloma Virus ◦ Warts on the genitalia ◦ Any type of Genital Contact ◦ There is NO CURE ◦ 20 Million people currently infected with HPV
