2 Walk quickly and safely between classes If you stop to talk, move to the side so people may pass Be patient if it is congested, do not push and shove Use appropriate language and volume when talking Is it kind? Necessary? Hurtful? Truthful? Keep the Public Displays of Affection to a minimum “G” rated is school appropriate During Class - A Hall Pass is Required No Passes the first 10 or the last 10 minutes of class. Hallway Expectations

3 Use the restroom between classes and Lunch During Class - you must have a pass Be timely and return to class immediately Report graffiti, vaping, or other misbehavior Single Use Restroom available in the Commons Check out a key from Mrs. Smith in the Main Office Restroom Expectations

4 You must stay on campus Off limit areas include stadium, all parking lots, and bus loop Stay in the designated areas No eating past the carpeted areas or outside by the Portables Sort your garbage, compost, and recycling Compost is used at the Freedom Farm and reduces waste Pick up after yourself and return your trays Library, Career Center, Main office, Attendance Office, Nurse,Counseling, and Student Store are available Commons Expectations

5 OHS is a CLOSED CAMPUS Dark Blue areas: classrooms Outside the Yellow line: off limits during school hours Pond (light blue) Off limits unless with a class.

6 Please do not wear clothing or display emblems or accessories that: Demean/degrade individuals or groups Promote violence or illegal activity (weapons, alcohol, tobacco, or other drug use) Exhibit sexual innuendoes, sexual messages, vulgarity, and/or profanity Are determined to be affiliated with gangs, including bandana print Undergarments must be covered by outerwear Torso, midriff, back, and cleavage must be covered Shoes or sandals must be worn at all times Skirts, Shorts, Dresses should be mid-thigh length or longer. Use your fingertips as a measurement. Dress Code Expectations

7 Comply with classroom Cell Phone/Electronics policy Be in your seat ready to learn at the start of class Actively participate in class activities Follow teacher expectations Use appropriate language Ask questions, seek clarification, use time wisely Do not disrupt others Be helpful and kind Classroom Expectations

8 Student Store and Kitchen are open the first 10 minutes of Bear Time ONLY Make a plan before Bear Time Sign out in your 2nd period class If you need to change locations during Bear Time A or B - Sign out and get a Bear Time Pass signed and move with purpose to the next location Bear Time Expectations

9 When you return, you are expected to stay in the commons Wait for the bell to go to your class or bus. Use the time to complete homework. You may go to the counseling and/or administrative office Do not roam the halls or disturb classes. New Market PM Bus - after 3rd period, grab lunch a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 10:55am Wednesday & Friday: 11:30am Do not wait at OHS to meet a friend or give a friend a ride home after school New Market & Running Start Student Expectations

10 Sit in your class section Match the tone of the Assembly example: Spirit vs. Veteran’s Day Listen, be respectful to speakers/performers Senior Courtesy - It’s a tradition One day you will be a senior... Assembly Expectations
