20 GUIDING PRINCIPLES FOR VENDOR SELECTION 1.BASE LEVEL EXPERIENCE Experience delivering high quality cleaning services and hospitality ambassador programs in public/ private pedestrian environments similar to Downtown Detroit 2.DETROIT FOCUS Experience and/or commitment to buy local, employ Detroit residents and utilize training programs targeted to those with barriers to employment 3.CUSTOMER SERVICE FOCUS High-level customer service/teamwork focus and effective service measurement/feedback system 4.COST EFFECTIVENESS Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality services in a cost competitive manner 5.INNOVATION & FLEXIBILITY Utilize national best practices; flexibility to respond to evolving client requirements
