2 PEAK FOR THE WEEK COMMENCING 13 th May 2012 (WEEK 20) PUTs declined across all trading demographics this week but are starting to show less significant losses. YOY. The younger demo’s posted the highest losses AP 18-39 (-5%) & AP 18-49 (-4%). AP 5+ (<1%) and AP 25-54 (-3%) recorded smaller declines. 3 TV ONE HIGHLIGHTS AP 25-54 TV ONE experienced growth in audience again this week to be the highest of the year ( 9.0 ratings) with share also up WOW. From a yearly perspective both audience & share losses were reported. Weekly, all days except Monday and Thursday experience ratings increases. Yearly, Tuesday and Friday night experienced a 36% and 28% lift. Year to date, TV ONE’s average audience is sitting at 7.8, compared to 9.3 in 2011. Three shows were in the top ten programmes this week. 4 TV2 HIGHLIGHTS AP 18-39 Another good week for TV2 with audience increasing but share slightly declining (to 9.5 rating and 29.2% share) – again this week was the highest rating of the year. Year on year, audience and share losses were recorded. Saturday night reported the highest weekly lift of 18% with Saturday’s movie Angels & Demons performing particularly well. Yearly, Wednesday and Saturday night experienced 6% and 2% lifts. TV2’s average audiences are sitting at 8.2 compared to 9.4 last year. Eight of the top ten programmes this week were on TV2. 6 TVNZ Ondemand weekly Stream Views increased by 59% compared to the same week last year and was the highest streamed week for the year. Year to date, TVNZ Ondemand Stream Views are sitting 47% ahead of last year. Monday’s episode of Shortland Street was the most streamed programme for this week.
