Aims Review progress in AfL and APP Identify next steps for whole school implementation Begin to consider evaluating the impact on teaching and then learning

Common issues for assessment Not used formatively Teacher insufficient understanding of how each element supports learning Teachers use mechanistic elements of AfL with no impact on pupil learning Over reliance on testing or formal assessment tasks Recording is not purposeful or manageable
