8 Planning for 2016 Consolidated 800 Number Fannie Mae is taking steps to make it simpler to contact us Servicing Management Default Underwriter (SMDU) SMDU will allow smaller servicers to access and utilize the same loss mitigation platform that the lager Fannie Mae servicers use today Provide access to Fannie Mae’s complete loss mitigation products and policies Reduce cost associated with operational and technical activities, limits risk and liability SMDU provides servicers with a Rep and Warranty Real time interface that reduces servicing time and approvals © 2015 Fannie Mae.
