If one appliance is switched off, the others stay on
Wiring in parallel ensures that an identical potential difference exists across any appliance.

4. Circuit Breaker
To prevent excessive current, a fuse or circuit breaker must be placed in series with all the outlets.
A circuit breaker triggers a switch that interrupts the current when current reaches a certain value.

5. Steps for Determining Req of a complex Circuit
Simplify circuit into groups of series and parallel resistors.
Find Req for each group using appropriate rules
