2 Stars and Stripes  The gosudarstvennyj flag of the USA known also as the Star-Spangled Banner, is an official state symbol of the USA (along with the Big press and a hymn).  Represents a rectangular panel with seven red and six white horizontal alternating strips. In canton of dark blue colour — 50 five-pointed stars of white colour. 13 strips — 13 colonies which have formed the independent state (New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Northern Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania). The dark blue rectangle on the left side symbolises the Union. The number of stars in a dark blue field corresponds to number of states (now them 50). Red colour personifies endurance and valour; dark blue — diligence, justice, vigilance; white — innocence and cleanliness. A parity of the parties 19:10.  The flag varied eventually depending on number of the states making the Union. The new star is added to a flag on July, 4th after occurrence in the union of new staff.
