Am I bleeding edge? –How early in the investment process do I want information? –Can I leverage my sell-side relationships to make this easier?

Budget? –What percentage of my business is running through my OMS? –What built-in connectivity exists? –Should I take the easy way out with a Hub & Spoke model?

March 21, 2006 Case Study: A major investment management firm Think before you act… –Is one group or location of traders more desirous of connecting…use them! –Leverage your sell-side firms that court you. Their guidance will be invaluable. –Either hire or bring in the talent to get this done quickly and cleanly. The good will WILL come back to you. –Be patient! Any connectivity is good connectivity.
