Booster  1.02.01 Determine rep. rate limit No real progress because some key players concentrating on other things.  1.02.02 Orbump (+ 400 MeV line) – All six magnets done and tested Chosen three for use Mounted on girder Problems with strip line (more later) Will test next week On schedule (see Andrews’ talk)

10. Proton Plan PMG 2/23/06 E Prebys 10 Progress Booster  1.02.03 Correctors – Several coils potted and being tested. Laminations in, two cores stacked. Going out for bids on winding Electrical specs complete. Working on document.  1.02.04/05 30 Hz/Gamma-t – Mini-review tomorrow –Abandon 30 Hz –Continue to work on gamma-t  1.02.11 Booster Dump Relocation Ready to rock  1.02.13 Booster RF/ Rep. rate Improvements Transformers failed corona test at factory Cez strongly believes the problem is the test, and is going to investigate. If he’s right, we’re on track for the shutdown. If he’s wrong, we probably won’t get it done.

11. Proton Plan PMG 2/23/06 E Prebys 11 Progress Main Injector  1.03.01 Large Aperture Quads – Ready to go for all seven  1.03.02 Collimation – Ready to go (see pictures)  1.03.03 NuMI MultiBatch Operations – Intensity pretty much where it’s going to be until we start slip stacking Still plan to do kicker mods over shutdown, but load testing is tight. –Worse case: complete plumbing over shutdown and install loads later (~2-3 days) Studies: full 11 batch slip stacking and acceleration to 120 at low intensity! Study Group  1.05 Draft submitted to director Hand-off being negototiated with SNuMI effort
