Patients’ Rights Directive The right to live in a state of complete well-being consisting of physical, emotional, and social safety The right to live and preserve the well being of a patient in every aspect Race, language, religion, creed, sex, political opinion, philosophical belief, economic and social situation can not be taken into account Except in medical necessities and in cases prescribed by law, physicians can not violate with patients human rights without consent Patients can not be subject to medical research without consent or permission by law Privacy of the patient can not be violated in any way or manner
