NEWTSUB DeepWorker 2000 Tracking DeepWorker: -Ship sends out ultrashort baseline (USBL) - Transponder on DeepWorker receives ping and sends out two on different frequencies - First= range and bearing - Second= water depth - WinFrog uses ship’s GPS and gyrocompass to derive DeepWorker’s acoustic pings - Arc View GIS is a program that produces bathymetry, sidescan, and multibeam bottom imagery - VHF multi-channel radio for communication
