In 1939 David Packard and Bill Hewlett created the HP 200A Audio Oscillator. Walt Disney Pictures ordered 8 HP 200A Audio Oscillators for their 1940 movie “Fantasia” David Packard and Bill Hewlett found Hewlett-Packard in a garage in Palo Alto California.

People Alan Turing was a math genius and proved to be an instrumental code-breaker in World War II In 1936 he published a paper “On Computable Numbers” He was 42 years old when he died

Magnetic tape was a key part in computer revolution IBM 726-was one of the first high-speed magnetic tape systems for electronic digital computers. It used a unique vacuum channel method to allow the tape to stop and start in a split second It could store 2million digits per tape and you could rent it for $850 per month

The Rancho Arm was created at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Downey, California it was created for the handicapped It has six joints and is as flexible as a human arm Its one of the first artificial robotic arms to be controlled by computer
