Network Response – Draft Unit Specification not well received. It was felt that the New Unit Specification was too difficult and would result in very few ‘A’ Grades. NETWORK RESPONSE

After consultation it was decided that the existing Unit Specification, with some alterations, would be acceptable COMPROMISE

Structure of the Instrument of Assessment changed ALTERATION TO UNIT SPECIFICATION

Inclusion of Using Financial Accounting Software as Recommended Prior Knowledge and Skills Computational – 60% Narrative – 40% STRUCTURE OF INSTRUMENT OF ASSESSMENT

COMPUTATIONAL 3 Sections:- Purchase of Materials and Wages Analysis – 10% Ledger Accounts and Trial Balance – 25% Preparation of Final Accounts – 25%

NARRATIVE Now split in to two Sections:- Section A – Financial Accounting Section B – Management Accounting
