The online editor provides basic functions of Office programs and is available even if you are not working on a device that has MS Office installed
22
You can change to the full version of an Office program by selecting “Edit Document”. MS Office must be installed on the computer to use this feature.
23
Tips: Online editors have most, but not all, features of the application. Starting a new document in 365 automatically creates a saved copy in your OneDrive. To rename a document in the online editor, click on the title and type in the file name you want to use. There is no Save feature in the online editor; changes are saved in real-time as you make them.

The “Share” feature allows other users to see and edit documents you are working on
26
See who you have already shared the document with
27
Invite new people to share the document with Tip: Names are based on Beavercreek Outlook accounts
28
Note: Assigning “Can edit” privileges allows other users to make changes to the original document. These changes are made in realtime. “Can view” allows users to save a document, open it and edit; however, no changes are made to the original. Choose whether they can read or edit the document.
