Monday Procedures and Activities Prebell Question: What is an Inbox? The teacher will introduce lesson on integrating Reading/Language Arts skills with a technology business career-Steve Jobs Biography The students will complete 15 comprehension questions about Steve Job Biography –See Handouts. (Write complete sentences) Students will continue keyboarding skills 25-30 mins. on Edu Typing and Homework –keyboarding lesson, if not finished Enrichment Activity—Further Practice: Do typing in Keyboarding Ch. 3 textbook—pages 92 for those who finish early Closure: The teacher will wrap up lesson with an oral review. See Exit Question-- next slide

Tuesday Activities and Procedures: Prebell Question: Explain the difference between a blog, wiki, and discussion board The teacher will review all skills from Day 1 and give purpose of today lessons. The students will complete review handout on O Henry Web Quest-ICT Integration Language Arts Activity(group activity-pairs) Students will continue keyboarding skills. Differentiated Activities—25- 30 mins. on Edu Typing and Enrichment Activities--Keyboarding Ch. 3 textbook—pages 92-94 Classwork: Students will complete a Christmas typing assignment in Word Document and save it in their Z drive. (See Thursday) Closure: The teacher will wrap up lesson with an oral review. Homework: Continue keyboarding lessons at home. Due Wednesday

OBJECTIVES-- DAY 3: ◦ The student will: utilize financial literacy in a Spice of Life activity use career planning software to become familiar with the 16 National Career Clusters and the opportunities for employment in each one Perform proper techniques to learn touch keyboarding for alphabetic keys. DAY 3 BELL WORK QUESTION: Pre-Bell Activity: After reading the biography on Monday about Steve Jobs, describe one thing he accomplished as an entrepreneur.

Wednesday Activities and Procedures: Pre-Bell Activity: After reading the biography on Monday about Steven Jobs, describe one thing he accomplished as an entrepreneur. The teacher will review all skills from Day 2 and give purpose of today lessons on Spice of Life and introduce guest, Mrs. L. Crocker from Wayne County Extension Office The students will complete hands-on activities on Financial Literacy- Budgeting in the Storm Shelter with Mrs. Crocker –4 th period, 5 th period and 6 th period classes. Students will continue keyboarding skills. Differentiated Activities—25- 30 mins. on Edu Typing and Enrichment Activities--Keyboarding Ch. 3 textbook—pages 92-94 Classwork: Students will complete a Christmas typing assignment in Word Document and save it in their Z drive. (See Thursday) Closure: The teacher will wrap up lesson with an oral review.
