Possessive ’s: Spelling
singular noun: add 's Jack → Jack’s pen singular noun ending in –s: add 's or an apostrophe (') only Mr James → Mr James’s book / Mr James’ book

regular plural noun: add an apostrophe (') only my parents → my parents’ car irregular plural noun (not ending in –s): add 's the children → the children’s room
