Transportation – Comfortable Coach Buses St. Donat, Québec – small village, 1 hr north of Mount Tremblant The Company Perspectives – 30 years experience with students and overnight stays Hotel Accommodations – Centre de vacances étoile du nord 3-6 students per room Boys and girls have separate rooms / wings Hotel amenities – Bathrooms, daily room cleaning, etc Room requests taken / teachers make final decisions

4 Activities *Half day ski/snowboard lesson for three days + Free ski at the end of each lesson STUDENTS DO NOT NEED TO HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE – Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced groups *First timers – do not choose the snowboarding option ________________________________________________________________________________ Not just a ski trip! Snowshoeing, X-Country skiing, Ice Skating (Night Trails), Scavenger Hunt, Professional Song Recording, Drama, Cultural Activities, Winter Activities, Dances, Magicians, Circus Performers, Talent Show… and the list continues …

5 ** NO JUNK FOOD OR SOFT DRINKS IN THE ROOMS **
The program cost includes breakfast, dinner, evening snack Many options available – including accommodations for allergies Students can eat as much as they want at a meal ***LUNCHES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE*** Sunday – bring a bagged lunch for the bus or $ to purchase at the rest stop Purchase your lunch at the ski hill for approx. $10.00/day Return trip home – purchase your lunch at the ski hill OR pre-order a delicious bakery lunch to be delivered on the bus ($8.00) Sandwich, choice of drink, dessert ** NO JUNK FOOD OR SOFT DRINKS IN THE ROOMS **

6 Security Supervision at all times – 10 students / Teacher ratio including 1 Perspectives monitor assigned to each group & the rest of the Perspectives staff Night security (all night, inside/outside) Teacher will be in charge of administering any medication (forms to follow) Local doctor on site, Clinic in St. Donat village, Hospital in Ste. Agathe (30 min) NGP students interact with students from other schools only during meal times, and large assembly type events (eg., talent show, quiz night)

7 Cost Breakdown $574 per student (taxes in) This includes:
Transportation on a Coach Bus for 4 days Hotel Accommodations Night Security 3 full breakfasts/dinner/evening snacks 5 hours of ski/snowboard instruction + free ski time All outdoor activities (eg., snowshoeing, skating) 3 nights of indoor entertainment shows (eg., circus performances) A cultural experience being completely immersed in the French language **Lunches / Rentals / Insurance NOT included

8 Rentals Students can bring their own skis/snowboard equipment and ice skates/helmet -OR- You can rent: Ski Rental (Boots, Skis, Poles) - $42 (4 days) Snowboard Rental (Boots/Board) - $57 (4 days) Helmets - $9 (4 days) *No bike helmets or hockey helmets on ski hill *Students must have a helmet to participate in skiing, snowboarding or ice skating

9 Important Dates Payment Information & Schedule:
1) Please make all cheques payable to Norman G. Powers Public School. 2) Payment by cash, please let the HR teacher know it is arriving with your child 3) All payment needs to be given directly to Mme. Kennedy in her office #214 first thing in the morning 4) In the event that Mme. Kennedy is away, all payment is to go to the office. *Monday, November 30th – $100 deposit *non-refundable* Insurance cheque ($25.00) made payable to Perspectives Monday, December 14th – $150 Monday, January 11th – $150 Monday, February 1st – $174
