Vocabulary – 1 st Foldable Reactants: the beginning items in a reaction; what you start with Products: what you end up with (on the right side of the arrow) Chemical Equation: shows both the reactants (on the left) and the products (on the right)

Vocabulary – 2 nd Foldable Law of Conservation of Mass: – Nothing can be created or destroyed, it just changes form – Starting amount and ending amount are the same Co-Efficient: Larger number at the beginning of a molecule (ex: 3 H 2 O three is the coefficient ) Subscript: Smaller number to the right of a chemical symbol ( the “2” in H 2 O – means 2 atoms of hydrogen)

Venn Diagram on Notebook Paper Make a Venn diagram that compares and contrasts Physical and Chemical changes.

3 Notecard Questions On one notecard, write one question on the front using anything we did from the first day of school. Put the answer on the back. Make 3 notecards total.
