Your task … Use p73-74the internet (see page 74 Activity 5.10 for some useful websites) to find out about 3 types of Behaviour Therapies for Phobias.. Flooding Systematic desensitisation Implosion Theory Create a poster or powerpoint about these therapies. Prize for the best!!! You have 30 minutes to create something

Extension – Try activity 5.10 – draw up an anxiety hierarchy for a phobia of your choice – using Systematic Desensitisation Try activity 5.11 – using Implosion Therapy Read the article and highlight key words or sentences that relate to the Behaviour Theory of phobias

Practice Test You have 15 minutes to complete the test (which is how long you will have in the real exam!!!) Remember to look out for… the number of marks required – how can you elaborate your answer for max marks? – justify, relevant example, research to back up answer. The question words – describe, outline, evaluate, list, limitations, examples, theory, research – they will tell you what the question is asking for Good Luck!!
