J. Lewis – S. R. Weidema n Bidding occurred in June – selected contractor is Rueben Johnson and Sons, Inc. (official contract immanent)

July 14, 2004Former DuPont Barksdale Works Project Update13 Residential Monitoring n April 2004 sampling results (10 potable wells) will be transmitted to WDNR shortly – Preliminary results indicate no detections of site- related compounds n Annual change-out of carbon cylinders was completed in March/April 2004 – Two seasonal homes completed in June n Next sampling event will be conducted in late summer (approximately 82 homes starting on August 23rd)

July 14, 2004Former DuPont Barksdale Works Project Update14 Site Investigation n Trenching and further sampling in production areas started May 24 th and completed July 9, 2004. – 33 trenches excavated – 300 pounds of TNT recovered for off-site disposal – Used robotic equipment – Focus was within the former manufacturing area n 10 new monitoring wells will be installed in the summer n Additional groundwater sampling to be conducted in late summer/early fall
