3 Mammals. Backbone Give live birth to there young Have fur or hair on there body Feed there young milk produced from the females body Warm blooded Breath with lungs

4 Reptiles. Have scaly skin Lay eggs with leathery shells Are cold blooded Breath with lungs Mainly live on land Have 4 limbs or no limbs (snake) Backbone

5 Amphibians. The young live in water adults live on land The young breath with gills adults breath with lungs Have moist scale less skin Have 4 legs Lay soft eggs Are cold blooded Backbone

6 Fish. Live in water Breath with lungs Have scaly skin Have fins Lay soft shell eggs Are cold blooded Backbone

7 Bird Have feathers covering there body Lay eggs with hard shells Warm blooded Have two legs and two wings Most can fly Breath with lungs Backbone

8 How animals adapt Animal adapt to there life just like humans would but a lot different animals adapt to the climate.

9 Spices, adaptations. taxonomic group: a subdivision of a genus considered as a basic biological classification and containing individuals that resemble one another and may interbreed. how someone or something changes and they adapted to what they changed to.

10 hibernation Bears hibernate in the winter because its to cold and because they cant find food such as fish in the lake river or ponds.

11 Camouflage Lizards can camouflage because they sometimes change colors like if a lizard was on a green leave it would turn green.

12 Migration Birds migrate, they fly south for the winter because they cant find seeds under the ground because of the snow

13 Mimicry Mimicry is something that mocks something for example a snake and a calla pitter the calla pitter copies the snake by its movements and sometimes how it look's.

14 Genetics and heredity Genetics mean things you get from your parent or parents like your color of eyes. your eyes could be green and your dad or moms eyes could be green and you would inherit there color of eyes.

15 Inherited traits 1.receive characteristic or quality from parent: to receive a characteristic or quality as a result of its being passed on genetically

16 Non-inherited traits Non inherited traits are things you cant develop from your parents like how long or how short your hair is or what you want to be when you grow up

17 Fossils Fossils are something that is printed again. Next to this text there's a print of a elephant fossil Fossils tell us that a animal died and was there so long that it became a fossil.

18 Introducing my animal. My animal is a elephant. The elephant is a herbivore. They eat grasses, leaves, fruits, and bark. Elephants have a very bad time hearing.

19 Were my animals habitat is. Elephants live in east Africa in savanna grasslands

20 How does an animal survive in its habitat. My animal is a elephant and it survives in the type of urban areas. They also survive in grass lands were there's are a lot of leafs and tree bark

21 Fun facts!!!!!! did u know that a fully grown elephant reaches 10-13 feet. And weighs about 15,400 pounds. did u know that a elephant is the largest land animal. did you know that a elephant lives up to 70 years!!!
