About Bing Bing is a web search engine from Microsoft Launched by Steve Ballmer on May 28 th 2009. Approximately 163 million Bing users Partnered with Yahoo to form the "Yahoo Bing Network.” When someone searches on Yahoo, Yelp, Siri on the newer iPads and iPhones, the Amazon Kindle, it's actually Bing working behind the scenes to power the search results. Bing has been growing every single month since it launched (2009) and ended the year at an all time high at 18.2%. Yahoo Bing Network searchers are more likely (than Google) to make more money, be older (35+), and be more educated (college education)
