9.  Mine/ERW Victim An person who has been killed or injured by a mine/explosive remnant of war (ERW) explosion, as well as affected families and communities who suffer emotional, social, and financial loss  Mine/ERW Survivor An person who has been injured by a mine/ERW explosion and has survived the accident Victim versus Survivor
