2 Expository Text is the Required Genre Students have been asked to read a non-fiction book related to natural disasters and weather. As we read this book we will discuss the factual information that we learn and understand how this genre is different from Fairy Tales Students will earn 3 pelts will be given for reading the required genre, completing a fact shape book and documenting their reading in keynote. 2 pelts for completing any of the 2 mentioned criteria. 1 pelt for completing any one of those items 1 pelt will be given for any additional reading of a “good fit book” of choice, and documenting within keynote Students had a great time learning about nutrition and exercise. Our special presenter used a car as an analogy to health. A car needs certain things to run and so do our bodies. Therefore, we must get the proper nutrition to function effectively throughout the day. Each student decided what they would do differently each day to improve their health, whether walking, eating more vegetables, or decreasing sugars, help your child stay committed!
