Definitions 1.Representations – This is a very important concept. It is to do with how people, ideas or events are presented. 2.Bias – This is when we have a strong feeling in favour or against someone or something. Often this strong feeling is not based on fair judgement. 3.Stereotypes – This is when we have fixed ideas about a group of people which may not be true. 4.Protagonist – This is the main character in the game. 5.Design – this has to do with how bright the colours are and whether cartoon animation is being used or whether the graphics are realistic. 6.Setting – is the game historical or contemporary, is the world limited or expansive? 7.Narrative – is it about killing people, or about keeping something alive, or a prize to win, or about exploration? 8.Perspective – is the game played through the first person, or a third person, or is it single unit or multi unit?
