Abstraction exists along a continuum, from partial abstraction to full non- objective abstraction Partial Abstraction: Artwork which takes liberties, altering for instance color and form in ways that are conspicuous Total abstraction: bears no resemblance to anything recognizable – just shapes, colors, lines, etc.
