Ward Food Waste Project Introduction of new ward meal service trolleys 2007 / 08 Each patient received an individual menu for next days Lunch and Tea Menus were ticked off with patient choices Total sheet sent to the kitchen Introduction of the new system agreement to allow extra for late admissions etc

Ward Food Waste Project Through monitoring of the ward total sheets trends began to emerge Exact quantities, Similar quantities, Repeat ordering, No orders. Introduction of ward meal monitoring Focus by Hospital on waste costs including food waste. Green Healthcare Programme CTC
