Interest in developing a Pan-African Certification system. NOTE: Area is not a good indicator of products marketed. Potential supply of certified forest products is growing faster than market demand.

Market demand continues to be largely from retailers - not final consumers. Main demand - parts of Western Europe, parts of USA Continuing uncertainties regarding market demand, prices, forest management impacts
