Lets think about it!!!! Now that we know why we amend the Constitution, its your turn. You and your group will pick one of the amendments we have covered and omit it from the Constitution Write the number of the amendment and tell me why you removed it from the Constitution

For each of the following amendments you and your group will read a scenario and identify the amendment. Practice—Angela Harrison and some of her friends are planning a march in front of city hall to protest the building of a new prison on the outskirts of town. Angela is always supporting controversial causes. Should she be allowed to march? Yes, her right to assemble is protected by the 1st amendment

For each of the following amendments you and your group will read a scenario and identify the amendment. The meat packers union in Hamburger, Missouri has been on strike for four months. Due to the violence, the National Guard was brought in. The commander of the guard unit wants to have his soldiers stay in the townspeople’s homes. Can he do that? Yes or no and which amendment

After watching him for several weeks, police come to his house with a search warrant to look for drugs. They find no drugs, but they do find fourteen DVD players and eight TV’s. Can they charge him with theft? Yes or no and which amendment
