HENRY STREET CLUSTERS Health & Wellness Mental Health Clinic PROS (personalized Recovery Oriented Services) Parent Center A Senior center with lunch and dinner program Neighborhood Resource Center Performing and Visual Arts/ Abrons Arts Center Cutting –edge performances by critically acclaimed artist in a landmark theater Training for children and adults in visual arts, theater, music and dance; and arts camps Artist- in -Residence and Arts –in- Education Programs Education and Employment Day Care centers, afterschool programs and summer camp Adolescent services, including college prep, youth employment, and health and wellness programs Job training and placement for adults and disconnected youth Computerized training and access to ATTAIN computer Lab Transitional & Supportive Housing Shelter and Supportive Housing for Families Single Adults and survivors of Domestic Violence

Shelter Based Employment Program 2012-2015 GOALSOUTCOMES Improve Onsite Employment Services Enrolled 328 residents; conducted 150 job readiness workshops Assist Residents in finding employment 193 new hires (58% of clients in program) and 9 career advancements; avg wage $10.37/hr. 75 youth aged 14-24 placed in SYEP Assist Residents in retaining employment Retention Rates: 3 month @ 65% 6 month @ 65% and 1 yr @ 43%

Shelter- Based Employment Program 2012-2015 HSS Back-To-Work Program Provided BTW alternative to HRA model Transferred 68 residents into program 43% found permanent employment 5% enrolled into vocational training programs or school Significant decrease in the number of PA sanctions and conciliations

Shelter- Based Employment Program Moving Forward: Increase new hire placement and retention rates Increase average wage upward (Dec 2015 Avg wage was $13.63) Increase number of educational & Vocational opportunities Direct more residents toward NYC Civil Service Exams and jobs Increase aftercare/ retention efforts to promote independence Seek consistent Funding Sources and Government Agency Support
