2. Introduction  Welcome everyone to the NetarchiveSuite Workshop!  Let’s start by introducing ourselves!

NetarchiveSuite Background  Originally developed by the two national deposit libraries in Denmark : The Royal Library (KB), Copenhagen The State and University Library (SB), Aarhus  Since 2005 : used to harvest the Danish web  2007 : released as open source, hand-on training  2008 : The National Library of France (BnF) and the National Library of Austria (ONB) joined the project  2009: first NAS workshop, start of NAS development community  More and more countries are using NAS Scotland, Estonia (2012), Spain (2013)

4. NetarchiveSuite Community Purpose  Exchange : get and provide support in using NetarchiveSuite  Share development effort (bug fixing, new features) for the benefice of all  Share curatorial practices
