1 Alternative Solution Definition of variables: –Independent variable - advertising campaign. –Dependent variable - sales. Operationalization of variables: –Independent variable - showing alternatives of the advertisement. –Dependent variable - number of sales by unit of light chocolate milk.

2 Measurement: –Show the advertisement(s) –Look directly at the sales numbers supplied by Freia Sample: –Decide what your population is, then how to draw a representative sample. –e.g. If population is all of Norway, then pick an “average” place to show the advertisement.

3 Data collection: –Collect data directly from Freia –Make sure data is available for different regions and possibly each store.
