Height Mount Teide is 3785 meters tall and its summit is the highest point in Spain. At 7500 meters from its base on the ocean floor it is the highest Volcano. With the height of Mount Teide makes Tenerife the tenth highest island in the world.

Location Mount Teide is located in the Canary Islands in Tenerife It is in the North West coast of Africa.

Eruption The most recent eruption was in 1909. Also it erupted in 1798, 1706, 1705 and 1704. When Christopher Columbus was on his voyage he apparently saw an eruption in 1492.

Temperature The temperature at the summit in winter can be between -5 and -10 degrees C.
