© 2003 Pearson Education, Inc., publishing as Longman Publishers. 4 Letter of Transmittal Include such information as Acknowledge those who helped with the report Refer to sections of special interest Discuss the limitations or problems of your study Discuss the need and approaches for follow-up investigations Describe any personal observations Suggest some special uses for the information Urge the reader to immediate action

Appendixes include such extra information as formulas, details not explained elsewhere, interview results, questionnaires, photographs, tabulated results, large visuals, statistics, or any other text or graphic that is not directly related to the report.
