The Patient Advice & Liaison Service is here to help when you need advice or information and don't know where to turn. Who can use PALS PALS is for everyone - patients, carers and relatives. The Patient Advice & Liaison Service is here to help when you need advice or information and don't know where to turn. PALS Services We provide confidential advice. When you need information about Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Services, or if you have concerns about care and treatment, contact us. We can help sort out any concerns or queries you may have about the care the Trust provides, giving you information and support to guide you through the services available from the NHS.

SEPT - MANDATORY TRAINING Contact Reasons If you have a problem, but don't know who to ask; have a suggestion or idea and want to share it; need help or information about health services; would like to comment on our service; want to discuss a concern in confidence; face to face interpretation; document translation into other languages, Braille or onto audio tapes signing (at BSL level 3) over the telephone translation; We want to hear from you! Non-PALS Services Unfortunately PALS do not offer counselling, diagnosis or any medical advice. PALS Response Rate Some questions and concerns cannot be answered immediately. In this case, we may need to take your contact details, so we can let you know the answer or what progress has been made. Unsure about PALS What if I'm not sure PALS can help me?.......... Try us! PALS can help make the links across other organisations like Advocacy, the Independent Complaints Advocacy Service (ICAS) and of PALS at other hospitals and Trusts.
