2. Plane Crash – What Would You Do?  Finish hearing from groups…  Your role: What is it?  What is the most important thing you can do in this particular situation.

3. Current Events  Take out a piece of paper.  On that paper, brainstorm all the major news events you can remember from the past 6 months! (You can go back to March 2011)

4. Current Events, cont.  Now in your table groups, share one news item from your list.  As a group, CREATE a 3 question quiz about those news events.  For example…

5. Current Events, cont.  News event: Attack on the World Trade Centers by two hijackers.  Quiz question: On what day/date did terrorists hijack planes and crash them into the World Trade Center buildings?

6. Current Events, cont.  Pass your quiz to the next table over!  Now…as a group…take the quiz! (2 minutes)  Pass it back and receive your score.  How did you do?

7. Current Events, cont.  Why are they important?  When will we take them?  What if I don’t know ANYTHING?  Where can I study for them?

8. News Attitude Survey  We’ll look at the results tomorrow.  Complete this before you leave class today…
