Plane Crash – What Would You Do? Finish hearing from groups… Your role: What is it? What is the most important thing you can do in this particular situation.

Current Events Take out a piece of paper. On that paper, brainstorm all the major news events you can remember from the past 6 months! (You can go back to March 2011)

Current Events, cont. Now in your table groups, share one news item from your list. As a group, CREATE a 3 question quiz about those news events. For example…

Current Events, cont. News event: Attack on the World Trade Centers by two hijackers. Quiz question: On what day/date did terrorists hijack planes and crash them into the World Trade Center buildings?

Current Events, cont. Pass your quiz to the next table over! Now…as a group…take the quiz! (2 minutes) Pass it back and receive your score. How did you do?

Current Events, cont. Why are they important? When will we take them? What if I don’t know ANYTHING? Where can I study for them?

News Attitude Survey We’ll look at the results tomorrow. Complete this before you leave class today…
